Ok I am blogged out now folks. JazakAllah for withstanding the onslaught. I will be taking a short break , there are enough posts to last a week. Time to split and take a short break. Sometimes when we blog, we can get bowled over with stats and likes and start thinking the comments reflect how wonderful we are. We know our own realities.

Islam is based on sincerity. And if we’re going to become a slave to numbers, hits, views and comments…we’re in murky waters bhai.

May Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’aala reward you all for the duas, motivation, sharing and advices.

As always,in need of duas

ma’as salaam

  2. Assalaamu alaykum.

I have just completed reading your blog; masha’Allah it is excellent. May Allah accept your efforts and make it a means of hidaayah for all who read it.

Please do not stop writing out of fear of pride based on the comments and ‘likes’. Rather ask Allah constantly for sincerity and humility, but continue with the writing; it seems to be a means of da’wah for many alhamdulillah. One of the ploys of Shaytaan is to use our good intentions to stop us from another good.

If you fear the praise in the comments will lead to your downfall, recite the du’aa of Abu Bakr (ra) abundantly: ‘Allahumma anta a’lamu bee minnee wa ana a’lamu binafsee minhum. Allahummaj’alnee khayran mimma yadhunnoon waghfirlee maa laa ya’lamoon wa laa tu’aakhidhnee bimaa yaqooloon.’ Insha’Allah, Allah will keep your ikhlaas and istiqaamat strong.

    On the lighter side:
While reading your comments on the watery food, it reminded me of how we used to joke about whether or not it’s jaa’iz for us to make wudhu’ with the food. Lol. Alhamdulillah, being in madrasah really teaches appreciation. May Allah abundantly reward all the asaatizah, cooks and caretakers of the ahlus sunnah darul ulooms across the world. Aameen.

  3. JazakAllahu khair for the encouragement and the naseeha, dua and duas to be read,it is always ,always appreciated.
Often feel this is a two way street, I give insight into things I learnt and the readers remind me of things I forgot and don’t know
